CNC Milling
Expac Machining is able to draw on decades of experience in machining a wide range of materials common in NZ industry. From steels , cast iron , brass , aluminum , tool steels , stainless steels, alloy castings , engineered plastics and also machining hardened components to tight tolerances.

Expac Machining has the versatility to turn a wide range of components from small complex parts like custom fasteners, to large heavy duty items such as cast SS pump impellers and shafts.

Parts Design
we have access to programs like AutoCAD and Draftsight to deal with several different file extensions like .dxf or .dwg. We can either design and draw from scratch (from paper) or amend your existing design to improve or modify. You may have designed the part but we can tell where to improve that it won’t fail or it last long, this comes from years and years of experience in myriad different industries.

Welding
The workshop is also equipped with a range of manual Lathes and Milling machines which allows us to carry out general work in the most economic and efficient way. Expac is able to cover most requirements for general welding using Mig , Tig , Gas , and Arc welding. Whether it be new fabrications or jigs and fixtures, to building up worn shafts and faces for finish machining.
